The Seven Sages of Liuli

Introduction

The Seven Sages of Liuli is a dungeon with a Guild Boss that rotates daily and is accesible through the Abyssal Prison in the dungeon section. Each boss has its own unique abilities and passives that restrict and/or limit the use of heroes. The seven individual bosses are seperated in six difficulties ranging from I to VI. The higher the difficulty, the higher the restrictions on the boss are. From difficulty V and up only heroes of the required tag can be used in the battle, else the boss gains an unique buff that increases their damage resistance by a lot. Also are the bosses nearly immune to other damage sources than the required damage tag. Defeating the boss on specific difficulty will open up the next (up to VI) and for each difficulty six attempts can be made. Defeated bosses are permanent. Like other bosses, all have immunity to control effects and turn meter manipulation, aswell as their max HP cannot be reduced. The rewards of the Boss will be gained the day after fighting each boss, at reset. The rewards are based on the highest damage dealt in one attempts and damage doesn’t stack. Higher rankings give higher rewards, where the rankings prioritise higher difficulty bosses over damage dealt.

[Tempation] and the mastery-debuff can, randomly, be removed with Counterattacks. Up to Difficulty IV any hero with counterattack can be used to fight the boss when the team is filled with poison-heroes.
Use enough heroes that have the [Poison]-tag to ensure having the increased damage debuff.

Luz

Submerged DragonAttacks all enemies and applies [Sharp Blade], which uses attack of the owner. Depending on the amount of enemies with a shield, either remove all [Sharp Blade] debuffs or gain increased layers of [Powerfull Might].
Flammable ClothingGains increased/decreased damage based on total amount of heroes with [Burn]-tag. When the boss HP reaches a certain threshold, damage other then [Burn] is lowered to 1.
Sages EffulgenceAfter the boss reaches 20 stacks of [Powerfull Might], all enemies will be slayed. For every difficulty the boss gains additional damage.
The mastery-debuff cannot be removed. It can be prevented by cleansing [Deep Cut] before it reaches 4 or more layers. Use enough heroes that have the [Burn]-tag to ensure having the increased damage debuff.

Aniru

Ruyi SplendorGrants a buff that increases turn meter dealt and increased layers of [Powerfull Might]. Is removed when boss has or gains [Severe Wound].
Auspicious RuyiGains increased/decreased damage based on total amount of heroes with [Internal Injury]-tag. When the boss HP reaches a certain threshold, damage other then [Internal Injury] is lowered to 1.
Sages EffulgenceAfter the boss reaches 20 stacks of [Powerfull Might], all enemies will be slayed. For every difficulty the boss gains additional damage.
The mastery-debuff [Exhaustion] cannot be removed. It can be prevented by cleansing [Explosive Fulu] with stealth before it detonates. Be carefull that detonation gives all allies a stack of the mastery debuff. Make sure the boss has [Severe Wound] applied before the second skill is cast to prevent the buff. Use enough heroes that have the [Internal Injury]-tag to ensure having the increased damage debuff. With the initial damage from Indrah and Dianmu it is possible for this boss to use specific heroes that don’t have the [Internal Injury]-tag.

Nezha

Floating SoulGains increased/decreased damage based on total amount of heroes with [HP-Burn]-tag. When the boss HP reaches a certain threshold, damage other then [HP-Burn] is lowered to 1.

[Stumbling Steps] can be prevented by [Ally Protection]. Use enough heroes that have the [HP-Burn]-tag to ensure having the increased damage debuff.

Charger

Earth-shaking PunchBasic attack of the boss; attacks three enemies with highest damage dealt. If self does not have [Severe Wound]-debuff, deal more damage which ignores [Shield], [Immortal] and [DMG Immunity]. This extra attack also applies [Tiger’s Roar], reducing Crit dmg by 100%.
Charged SweepDeals damage and enters [Charging Status], gaining additional damage when casting basic attack and additional stacks of [Powerfull Might] when casting Charged Sweep. Can be removed with Turn Meter Reduction.
StraightforwardGains increased/decreased damage based on total amount of heroes with [Direct Damage]-tag. When the boss HP reaches a certain threshold, damage other then [Direct Damage] is lowered to 1.
Sages EffulgenceAfter the boss reaches 20 stacks of [Powerfull Might], all enemies will be slayed. For every difficulty the boss gains additional damage.
Charged Sweep status can be removed with Turn Meter Reduction skills.
Make sure the boss has [Severe Wound] before he casts Basic attack to prevent the crit dmg debuff. Use enough heroes that have the [Direct Damage]-tag to ensure having the increased damage debuff.

Sun Wukong

Blood RushGains increased/decreased damage based on total amount of heroes with [Bleed]-tag. When the boss HP reaches a certain threshold, damage other then [Bleed] is lowered to 1.
Sages EffulgenceAfter the boss reaches 20 stacks of [Powerfull Might], all enemies will be slayed. For every difficulty the boss gains additional damage.
Allies with [Evil Spirit] gain [Sense of Evil] at the end of their turn, gaining a stacking debuff which lowers their attack. Both debuffs can be removed when gaining stealth. Use buff removal to eliminate the buffs from the boss. Use enough heroes that have the [Bleed]-tag to ensure having the increased damage debuff.

Zhongming

The boss applies a lot of debuffs which reduces overall survivability. Heroes with cleansing abilities might be usefull.

Team setup
Unlike all other bosses for Zhongming is not a specific damage-type needed, on the other side the usage of heroes is restricted. For each hero slot a specific tag or mark is needed which is shown in battle preparation. The needed tags or marks can change every week.

Tips and Tricks

Battle testing!

Before fighting the each Boss, it is possible to test a team without using attemps. Simply click on ‘Battle test’. Fighting the boss this way won’t use up attempts, but also won’t contribute for the DMG dealt and rankings.

Gear presets & Echoes

Gear plays an important role in both dealing the most damage possible and surviving until the end. As each day need different heroes to defeat the boss, swapping gear and echoes around heroes can highly affect your damage output. Gear presets are perfect for this, as for example you can use a strong offensive gearset on multiple heroes during the week without changing single gearparts every time.

Echoes can also have a great impact of damage, as they offer unique passives or actives. Echoes are more easily to swap around and benefit from this!

Clearing difficulties

When clearing the same difficulty for all bosses, first-clearance rewards are given including gear, breakthrough materials and more! All rewards per difficulty and current progress can be seen when clicking the First Clearance Rewards.

Rankings

The rankings shows the actual standing of the top 200 players with the most damage for the boss. Also the top rankings up to six days ago are shown, which can be very helpfull for creating teams for each boss.
